There are users here who do strike a good balance between fair criticism and fair praise, but you're not one of them. You're more of a constant hater.

When brought up in conversations about our standing in Europe you claim the title has no meaning. You also regularly state that players can't be judged on domestic performances and can only be considered great if they perform in Europe.

Yet, you value the LaLiga title? You don't really, even if you claim to. The difference is you come at it from a pro Xavi angle instead.

We focused more than them, were more hungry to win, and we played better than them as a result, obviously. We were better than Madrid in the last La Liga season. That's not some small thing.

The comparison vs Madrid is at peak level of play, that's what I mean by better usually. Here, they are above us clearly. Hence why they made 4 CL semis in a row and we failed to get past groups in the last 2 seasons. This is where Madrid is showing they can access a level of football in big matches that we, at the moment, can't match.

Because everything Serghei says is a masked attempt to big Xavi up as much as possible, not argue about the actual points being made, leading to him changing his arguments every few months when he's proven wrong.

The arguments arent made on him evaluating the facts and giving his actual opinion but giving the one he thinks makes Xavi look best.

Yes but you devalue Barcas league win when told how they were better than Real and make no end of excuses about Real being 'shit' last season. That's what he is, a great talent, not a world class player. Let's make that clear. He's borderline top 10 midfielders in the world, but he has a long way to go to breach top 3-5. He's special when you look at his age, but he can't be compared to players like De Bruyne, Gundogan, Bernardo, Kroos, Modric, Verratti, Thiago, Kante, Kimmich, Valverde.

What's this supposed to prove? Gundogan was a top player for City, I already said that even in the previous pages. There are plenty of players whose form drops after they move to a different team and they age.
