First and foremost Mbappe is french. Secondly imo Mbappe usually plays better than Messi at PSG since he is so much younger than him and ofc extremely good too and there are so many matches to play until the Ballon d'Or will be given which makes me think it is likely that they will award the trophy to Mbappe eventually.

Both leo & ney have outperformed him since the start of this season though

in briefs & g-strings & XGs, boob's d'or is still up 4 grabs

also depends how motivated leo is now that the WC is over or will both he and ney revert to vaca mode :fishing:

Saw Salt Bae mentioned earlier today, now I know why. Messi probably didn't recognize this clown. I didn't for sure.

Everyone tried to use Messi in the moments after the match. The sheikh forced him to wear the robe during the ceremony, which was extremely stupid and rude. Maybe should have put him on a camel's back instead of Aguero. I don't remember Lloris drinking shots of vodka with Putin or Casillas putting on Zulu dress.

Kudos to Leo for composing himself to deal with those donkeys, he didn't give a fuck.

Salt Bae actually fed Messi some steak back when he was at the peak of his popularity. Now he is just irrelevant and desperate for attention. Probably because his insanely overpriced restaurants are losing money. Especially those outside Turkey and Arab countries.
Anyway, he did get his photo with Leo. Plus, he has videos on his IG too with other Argentinian players. They all look a bit uncomfortable. Which isn’t that hard too understand. In one video he takes the trophy out of Romeros hands and starts kissing it and doing that salt pose over it. Looking like a complete moron.

There might have been a time where I would try to argue the bullshit, but currently the only answer is:
Who gives a fuck?
Messi now is timeless exactly like Diego and Pele.
All others can argue about their place amongst football players, but Messi is on Messi tier, above and beyond anything else.

I hate clout chasers in general. Some bs vlogger can get a eto'o knee to the head as far as im concerned but these celebs and also macron with mbappe or infantino and the emir trying to shoehorn themselves into legendary moments is extremely cringeworthy.just fuck off.

Just have Kempes and Valdano give out the trophy and only let players and their family on the pitch.
How difficult is it?

You guys remember how that one time after a wc for club match they out messi in a japanese tv setting in the stadium.
Like it was a comedy sketch or something and was awkward fir everyone involved. Just let the guy celebrate with his teammates normally and dont steal their moment or try to get involved.
