This is right. I have lowered my expectations for him since his injuries. Not expecting much now, and we have first team wingers anyway, so we don't need to depend on him in the short term.

Don't want to read too much into his first start in a long time but clear his sparkplug substitutions have been more noteworthy. I saw him never really try to beat his marker on the left wing and the couple of times he got into dangerous positions he lacked the clinical efficiency he has previously demonstrated

Clear at the moment he is at the bottom of the attacking forward depth chart, fortunately the top 3 are quite effective & consistent. But it does beg the question, when/where will Ansu eventually fit in?

His future is at striker. He has the movement, finishing, and is quick enough to play as a 9. Off-topic, in my FM save I use him as a False 9 or Advanced Forward with another forward and he plays great

Did he do anything of note though? As others have said he looks to be in a pretty terrible state physically. He was never super quick, but always had a quick first step to beat defenders and that seem to be gone now too. At least for now.

He's ok for slower La Liga games, but you need power and speed for these CL away games. Surely not an option yet.
