If Xavi fails this season I don't want his fan boys making excuses. I know the fb positions are still weak but the rest of the positions are strong. Not cl strong but good enough for la Liga.

LaLiga is a minimum or maybe Copa and then good results in Liga and CL.

Yeah,seeing our squad now la Liga is a must. Real haven't reinforced and are one Benzema injury away from being average.

This will be Xavi's system, an asymmetric 4-3-3:
a 4-3-3 on paper, and probably in set defense.
But, on the ball, which is most of the times as we will have a lot of possession,
it will asymmetrically become more of a 3-5-2,
with the RB (Kounde or Araujo) tucking in to form almost a 3 atb, the LB (alba or Alonso) released up the pitch,
the RW (Dembele or Raphinia) always out wide giving width, and the LW (Ansu or Ferran) making diagonal runs centrally close to the CF

Real have enforced with one of the best defenders in the world and an 80m midfielder. Besides, last season Madrid walked the league, and won the CL.
The top 3 in the world is probably, City, Liverpool and Madrid in this order.
Depending on how Madrid show up we will either dominate this league campaign or we will fight neck and neck with them to the end. Anything less would be a bad result yes.
But just because we improved our team a lot doesn't mean Madrid suddenly are Rennes or Dortmund
