As I have said he is a british style striker. Wouldn't fit this league where the style is slower and less physical etc. A class act in the Premiership though.

There is something to that indeed, but consider the pace at which Messi plays... And Cronaldo.. And they fit pretty well imo. Rooney I think would be a great addition to the squad in that he is a worker, and I am sure Pep would love that. What he'd also be amazing at is pouncing on Xavi and Iniesta's through balls, he'd finish like no tomorrow as well. Imagine having a beast like Rooney running at you full strength down the left wing, with or without the ball, he'd bring a huge physical presence. Henry would have to go obv but what about Bojan - he may too. I am sure though that Pedro would retain his spot. But it's a WC year and maybe Barca would need a bigger squad, as although Ibra will rest, Messi won't.
The same way we fit Henry, Messi, Ibra and Pedro + it will be in the aftermath of the WC so you can't play them as much.
But yeah you're right about the centre, you never know though, we could play a 4-3-3 with a narrow LW, to put Rooney closer to the centre? Dunno. I think that Rooney would fit just as David Villa would.
