I don't get the "premium" part. I mean who is to tell clubs that they can't accept sponsorships that are worth only say, $100,000 a deal and all they have to do is to flash the name of the sponsor on the billboard for like 3 seconds during a game? PSG or any club could get a ton of these sponsorships, I mean.

PSG marketing said some years ago that they are focusing on getting premium partnerships. It means they will focus on having a select few who will pay a lot more to get the exclusive space.

If you have 10 k sponsors fighting for 3 seconds of exposure, it is not worth it for them to offer anyy good money. A scheme like that would be shut down by former FFP (related parties) and new FFP (not fair value market even if those were unrelated parties).

Bit like some low level teams have a kit full of sponsors, even on their butts, which cannot amount to a single deal from PSG or Bar?a.

Right, most clubs would want a few "premium" sponsors that will pay big bucks and probably cover 80%-90% of all their sponsorship revenue. However, if that % reduces to say 50%, it is not exactly a problem or prohibited, as those few would still get most of the exposure.

My point is, small contracts can add up to a lot of money. If I pay $100,000 a year, perhaps getting 3 seconds of exposure each game is considered fair market value after all. And if a lot of companies are doing that, numbers add up.

"I inform you that I have decided to stay at PSG. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to play for Real Madrid, the club I've been a fan of since I was a child."

See you in Madrid in 2025.

Don't think Perez likes to be rejected like that.
Let's see what happens...

So... who is more mad?

1. Tebas
2. Jamie
3. topt
4. Morten

or

5. Benzema?

I would say Tebas, Morten and Benzema are directly negatively affected, so i would say they are angry but not mad.

Jamie on the other hand was the one being more mad after the unfolding of a situation not only not defavourable to Bar?a but beneficial because Mbapp? could potentially score a lot of goals against Bar?a had he signed for Real.

Easy question tbh.

Greatest day in PSG history after the summer of 2017. Leo and Castellazzi out, Poch next. Luis Campos in, Zidane or Amorim rumored.

Ah, there you are, congrats on winning transfer windows.

Are you ever gonna translate that to performances on the pitch though?

Not saying he is happy that Mbappe is not coming, but hard to imagine that he would be unhappy about it either. Not like he would become less prolific if Mbappe is not here, or he loves Madrid so much that he is worried about them after he is gone etc. I would think he doesn’t care either way.

Did he express something on this subject today?
