no, you dont get to define messi's prime in a way that suits your messi goat narrative and also conveniently define CRs prime to make him look worse. prime CR was winning CLs every year scoring 50-60 goals a year. prime messi was 2009-2015 when he actually influenced CL ties

Ronaldo was a genuine world class dribbler for a good while, including his first season at RM, if you just look at his first season at RM, you will find he played quite differently compared to the seasons after.

They were effective, actually.

He just cut down on it post 2010, but he was still much more than just a striker up until 2015 or so.
