Messi been poor in too many CL knockout ties since 2015.

Poor v Juve, Atletico, Roma and Bayern in the pumpings.

Has had one good knockout stage run of games in past 5 years at Barca.

Villarato!
Had no reason to apart from when he was linked to us or you guys. If he's fired I hope he goes to you guys.

Me too
If gets to semi like his teams did last 2 times he led them in knockouts, and wins title, should be a no brainer to take him.
Been a long wait for the right moment to make it happen
Anyone with a head screwed on right would try especially if team gets younger like ours very much could.

The Valverde fanboys on this forum that hold him to such a high regard at the level of elite managers is the most inexplicable thing on this forum. '

Is it trolling or are these guys just that dense?

I think Qatar WC will likely be his (and probably Pendu's) last shot at doing something special again. Their club careers seem to be fading away atm.

The Messi from nowadays is average, he scored fantastic goals against city and leipzig but his overall gameplay hasnt been good. If he wouldnt have played a top copa america i would think he is nearly finished but because of the copa and the background that Messi was also crap first half of last season its a matter of time until he makes siuuu things.

Messi from nowadays is average for Messi standards (or even poor for Messi standards). I got no problem against that.

The meltdowns/complaints are from people who expect him to be Messi of old...he'll have his moments as he's 34-35-36.

I suspect a lot of the meltdowns (Rassvet in particular) is because CR7 has longer longevity (he's declined a lot too but he takes 110% care of himself). Just gotta learn to deal with the fact that CR7 might play till he's 40 while Messi will shut up shop in under 2 years.

Hearing the same slogans about Poch that folk were repeating about Klopp, before he won his first title in 2019 with Liverpool.

Nothing to do with pressure.
Everything to do with being unable to square the circle
No, it's not his fault, when he is been told by his bosses to shoehorn in a finished Messi, a finished Ramos, a probably finished Winaldum, and a soon-to-be-finished Neymar.
Good coach is not a miracle-maker.

Need also to remind people of the same kind of 'criticism' that Tuchel was getting when at PSG?
