prime CR still had worse ball control than Felix. The ball is glued to his feet. Thing is Felix still ended up with 0 G+A for all his work today, that's where his problem is.

Totaly different kind of players, Felix is more a playmaker and don't go the extra mile to bang his own goals.

Young CR was taking way more risks, and not combining much.

But then Prime CR is two galaxies ahead of anything Felix will ever to be. let's not kid ourselves he is top 2/3 all timers.

Had a pretty bad night, Felix's agility and trickery really hurt him. Hopefully he can take this as a humbling experience and it only makes him work that much harder to get better. Still our best defender by a mile though. Sad times.

Mingueza and Araujo are our only CBs who have the physical skills to play modern football. Pique, Garcia, Lenglet and Umtiti done.

Please don't be fooled by players physics, Araujo should not be in a team like FCB or even Sevilla, absolute zero potential.

Sleeping Pique is still better

Araujo was our best defender in all our games this season. And now just because Pique was slightly less worse than him against Atleti, you guys shit on Araujo. You should be ashamed, keep sucking of past it Busi and Pique and shit on players with some fight in them.

Always had a feeling that something is off with him and i am pretty sure its his positioning. Sad part is that he is maybe our best defender.

There are many things off with him, one of the worse ones is his positioning. As he runs decently fast to cover up for his mistakes some people see him as exactly what is needed.

On the road to becoming a good-world class (not saying he'll be world class) centre back you go through dozens of poor performances. Eric Garcia has been far worse than Araujo and yet I'm willing to bet there's a few who like him but not Araujo.

I say give them both time to learn their craft and gain the necessary experience it requires to be a top centre back.

Sure, I prefer Garcia to Araujo, and like his type of aggressiveness a lot more, but it is true that a CB often needs time and that there will be poor performances.
I see Araujo get too little critique, and also see too little improvement this last year. But I do not count him out.

Fair enough, I think he hasn't been critiqued as much because the goals conceded this year have had less to do with him. That wasn't the case yesterday so people can see his negatives clearer now. He needs to improve in a lot of areas and think he needs an experienced calmer head next to him to help him develop. Same with Garcia. I don't personally see that calmer more experienced head coming from Pique who still to this day will be found closing down the wings leaving space in the middle.

A top experienced cb should be our priority imo and then maybe these two will develop quicker.
