Never could be a fan of him while he was at Real Madrid (I'm an elite dedicated Barca fan) but now that he is no longer a RM player, we stan.

Also huge props for him to go to a proper club like United vs those oil clubs.

I have no problem admitting he's got the better CL resume than Messi and is likely the player you want to pick if you want to win CL games. Because CL is all about margins and while Messi can turn in a dominant performance, CR7 is way more equipped to bang in a couple goals from headers + half chances in the box.

BUT, people acting like Messi didn't have just as good a peak (if not better) in 08/09 CL, 10/11 CL, or 14/15 CL are a bunch of Messi haters.

PSG took a 34 year old Messi on last legs. And last I checked, Messi's contributed about 1000 G + A to Barcelona while CR7 has contributed 0. And absolutely no one to a very select amount on this forum will root for PSG if they face Barcelona.

It's weird for you to double down on this take, but cartwheeling for CR7 and equating it to some support for Messi are hardly the same.
