So anyone see the Tebas tweet where he effectively admits blackmailing Barcelona giving choice between Super League and accepting CVC+relaxing rules to allow Messi to sign?

https://twitter.com/Tebasjavier/sta...^1424291151813677058|twgr^|twcon^s2_&ref_url=

Unless I've misinterpreted something

It is a blackmail yes but within its rights. La Liga regulations mean that Bar?a couldn't sign Messi. Only if he was willing to make a special exception, which is linked with CVC signing, would Bar?a be able to renew Messi.

Beggars aren't choosers.

However, i think there will be something huge arising soon with the 3 bosses of Juve, Real and Bar?a meeting during this period of Tebas strong arming, Messi leaving and PL + oil clubs ruling the market. They can't stay there doing nothing and it will explode soon.

Oh shit

PSG sign new contract to promote a luxury camel race in Qatar for which they will receive 400m in 2 years from QSI.

Problem solved.

What can they do? Who wants a super league without the PL clubs? It wouldn't be a very interesting product.

" it's really bad, PSG have offered a blank cheque to Messi, Barca know they cannot stop Messi from leaving. The legal action is to expose the real contract PSG have offered to Messi to intice him away from the club of his life. Qatar wanted to make it a world cup the world will never forget and are using PSG as the front behind sporting dominion" An anonymous high ranking executive at Barcelona has confirmed.

STUNNING! the situation is about to go nuclear

Anyway, the only "problem" I have with this saga is media and fans alike investing Messi along the years with these noble human qualities, that he just didn't show and probably doesn't have (who cheats taxes anyway when you have hundreds of millions net worth?). All because he's awesome at kicking a football.

Get real, the man is not special in any way, shape or form, if you take him away from the football field. Goat footballer, but average character and personality.

That's all. Of course, despite all sugesting otherwise, fans will continue to think Messi loves the club sooo much and he was forced to leave. He was an employee who left when the overall package (especially the financial side) wasn't good enough anymore. But he did do his job amazingly well when he was here, and will always be remembered as the greatest player we have had.

I'm not gonna argue with any other of your point except this.

"who cheats taxes anyway when you have hundreds of millions net worth"

Everyone that I know of try to cheat tax. Especially the richest one.

Would be more interesting than any of the domestic leagues and take in more money for the top clubs to try and compete with EPL.

Most interesting league in world even if EPL teams did not sign up.

Lol, it was obvious Messi had left because he liked his pocket a bit too much.

Tebas, Agnelli, and Laporta have met today for the purpose of finding a way to compete with PSG and other state backed clubs"

Stunning! Not even a couple hours have passed and the official narrative is DEAD in the water

I dunno mate but that sudden reunion in that particular climate shows they aren't going to just watch. They want to dominate the market and they are just bystanders now. Unacceptable.
