Next it will be Atletico may include Lodi or Hermoso if Barca include Emerson as Trippier is off back to EPL.

A direct swap of Griezmann and Saul without any other Atletico players being involved is akin to a robbery in broad daylight. Sounds like something out of Bartomeu’s panicking playbook. We should not agree to this.

The alternative would be Griezmann staying on huge salary if the reported figures are true and that is near on impossible in current financial state.
Barca would have Saul/Depay and 70m odd over next x3 seasons vs Griezmann
Atletico get a good deal but so be it Barca need to do what is best for Barca even if improves them.

Think so too. Don't want to lose Emerson either. But we'd at least get a quality player. Strikes me as a better deal than a direct swap Griezmann Saul.

I think a deal for Llorente is tough in general due to Real Madrid always adding certain clauses making their former players almost impossible to re-sell to another Spanish team. Typically something like 20-50% of the transfer fee if sold to another La Liga team.
They wouldnt mind waiving it if a player is sold to Villarreal or something, but never for us lol.

Griezmann for Saul + Lodi sounds better if it happens than just Saul.
Even better if we can add Roberto and get rid of him and his salary too.
Not that I believe Lodi is World Class or anything, but he got potential to be a very good player and we get a LB to compete with Alba instead of having to shaft over Alejandro Balde and his development. If Lodi does well enough we could consider moving on from Alba next summer too.
