Trincao (on loan)

I think PL might be too tough for him at this point. Can't see him playing undisputedly either which will harm his fragile confidence.

Would have liked to have seen what he could do for the first half of the season first before this move was done.

It is a great move for him as a player, I think he will develop a lot and get a good run of minutes which is what he needs and being at Portugal FC right now should make sure he is comfortable and can adapt to the PL.

From our perspective however, it is just a bit risky from a depth perspective considering how long Dembele will be out. That is why I would have liked to seen what Trincao could have done with the minutes Dembele had before assessing if a loan move was necessary. Could have done this same move in January if he did not perform or kept him if he started flying. Maybe it is to get some more wages off the books too.

Very excited for Collado though. He should have some chances to get a decent amount of minutes next season!

I like Trincao and would have preferred him to Dembele/Griezmann as an option on the right.

Anyway, what is this option to buy? If he succeeds we make a small loss... Bartomeu truly had the midas touch of shit.

Just a year too late lol. Sporting department signing him and not sending him directly out on loan is dumb af.

unless there is buy clause included this all points to another useless transfer and loan that we've seen all these recent years

To be honest Collado will have no chance here unless Koeman is interested in him.

29M buy option.
We baught him for 20M + Abel Ruiz, who we valued at 10M (was inflated valuation, probably to cook the books?)
Overall, I would say we get our money back if they exercise their buy option.
