Lol Roberto and Pique were flat out trash since they got back and cost us points and games along with the likes of Mats with his piss poor keeping.
But yeah blame Dest a 20-year-old kid in his first season at the club and Araujo who was promoted from the B team and had a promising season despite his injuries. While Bob and Pique and Mats and the likes of Lenglet and Umtiti and Alba were one of the biggest reasons why we became a laughing stock in Europe in the past 4 fucking years.
Imagine defending any of those fucking clowns in 2021 while shitting on two kids who haven't been here anywhere near as long.

All players make mistakes and if Dest and Araujo are good enough to still be there in 4 years they'll be the ones getting the silly critique
Many users are completely blind to their mistakes now and it's silly to see.

Dest certainly gets shit and rightfully so, but yeah age does matter. We are talking about a kid who has had what barely three years of top-flight of experience vs a guy who has been with the first team dynamics since 2013, and has shown to be nothing more than a squad player at best.
Araujo is twice the defender Pique currently is, while one is young and still learning the other one can't even lead the back line and proved that he needed Puyol and Mascherano to hold his had throughout these years. Both Dest and Araujo deserve far more patience than the Veteran clowns we have in the back line now.

I don't share the general view but no use in discussing that.
Patience is one thing, but I don't think the mistakes of Dest and Araujo should be treated any differently to the veterans.
This is the narrative here for years. No more Valverde, Rakitic, Suarez to blame. So it's either Busi or Roberto at the start of the season majority here blaming Messi

He used to be better too. He was genuinely great backup or good starter.
Sure, he was better, but he was never worth that kind of money, he makes more than a few actual starters(Alba, Mats, to name a couple).
His agent must be incredible.
