Maybe it is a bit inappropriate, but personally I like Aitana, our captain Vicky Losada and Jenni a lot, from an aesthetics perspective. Jana is very cute too.

Jenni made the right call to return to us. Atletico is so bad right now, even behind the newly founded Real Madrid Feminino, aka CD Tacon.

Playing Madrid CFF (not Real Madrid) in semis and then probably Atletico in the final. Despite our dominance still think they're the one team that can cause us the most troubles. They've beat us in Supercopa semis which was one of our two losses this season (the second one was in return leg of CL quarterfinals against City after we've won first game 3-0). Well, it was after penalties so technically not really a loss but still.

The Women’s team in a way as emulated what made Peps Barca successful. Many Spanish and local talents brought through a system, all synchronised with a way of playing. Only adding top players where they need it.

They play some magnificent football, they really are the pride of Barcelona right now.

They would batter them 50-0, but not fair comparison anyway. Like a different sport. All I know is that Lieke Martens earning 100k per year is doing more for Barca the brand and club than Aloe Vera Umtiti surpassing that per week.

I hope Laporta can somehow get Maria Teixidor, the head of the women's football section between 2015 and 2020, the one who built the foundation of our women's football's success today back. Also must say that Jordi Mestre was particularly instrumental and decisive in building up this section of the club.

Domestically we will still face Atletico who will not just fade away, and increasing CD Tacon who is having an impressive season after being bought out by Real Madrid. They will provide us plenty of incentives to up our games. In Europe, Lyon, PSG, Bayern and Wolfsburg will be perennial title contenders, and now we have the English Super League teams who will get further beefed up and strengthened by more TV money and investment than any other league in Europe.

Laporta should keep the section intact and continue what we made us successful.

You can forget Teixidor returning. She's very much in that Rosell/Bartomeu group and would never herself be a part of the current board.

Besides it's Zubi's son who has built this team. As long as the club keep investing resources in it and you have people like him to put it into place the women's team should continue to prosper.

Martens only earns 100K per YEAR?

That is absurd. I can't believe bums like Umtiti, Lenglet, Bob, and co. earn more than than per week or two weeks.
