He is bad on wing so Koeman moves him to centre. Now he is bad in centre too. Vinicius looks like Garrincha to this guy.

Dembele only "thrives" in open space because athleticism is the only thing he has at the elite level. Even if he has space, he'll make a shitty decision and finish 9/10. It's not a Salah/Mane/Mbappe type of thriving in space, where they're actually useful and know how to convert chances into end product.

Dembele's an athlete that happens to play football. Someone else here said it (Total football, I think), dude should've picked 100m dash over football.

Madrid wants that. They absorb it then counter perfectly while Dembele is helping them by doing some comedy stuff.
