Erling Haaland

Mino Raiola and Haaland's father will travel to England tomorrow to listen to offers from Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool. They also travelled to Madrid in the afternoom after the meeting in Barcelona.

Ok guys, interesting stuff not gonna lie. Just one question pops in my mind: Does it mean something that Raiola and Haaland Sr. came first to us? Something like: let's hear what Barca has to say and then we can compare with what other clubs can offer? Or is just normal for us to be first in this line of clubs? My thoughts after the events this day. What do you think?

Don't think it really matters where they went first. Nothing will be decided probably for months. But a bidding war has officially started.

He didn't fool me. ;)

Raiola will surely visit Real and City too and we'll know when that will happen. It's in his interest to "negotiate publicly" as much as he can.

Wouldn't surprise me much if he'd be on his way to Madrid right after he's done talking with Laporta tbh.

Raiola will return to Barcelona soon. To offer us a player like Malen, after he gets much better deals for Haaland from other teams.

Hey, could be worse. Could be a lot worse. Wouldn't mind Malen, at least he's not an old cripple like Aguero.

Of course Raiola is meeting with other clubs as well. Still early days and any competent agent would take the time to view all proposals. Nothing do with being "fooled" or anything being "staged." This is just how business works. What we do know is that we've at least got a seat at the table.

Assuming that a release clause really does exist in his contract, he may also be looking for a contract extension for Haaland with a a pay increase + a big fat bonus in return for the removal of the release clause. Just a thought!; I have not read up on the details.

They did that with Reus. He used to have a release clause when he was first bought. Dortmund basically bought it from him.
