Erling Haaland

Yeah spot on.

Even if he doesn’t end up here it’s a good sign. Financial situation must not be as bad as some make out either.

Forum would be in meltdown if shoe was on other foot.

This is first comment about it on Madrid forum:

“This is true or 1 April ?

AS and Marca published it. I knew when Laporta elected that he will be troublesome for us.

Perez must not let that happens. Where da hell they got money for that operation? And why they meet with the player father as he still in contract and that not allowed”

Financial situation is irrelevant unless he actually signs.

There are plenty benefits to Barca/Haaland to have this link without really much chance of it happening.

Just jesting due to the takes on it being April 1st.

Feels too set up for me and part of Raoila auction/pressure on other clubs to cough up more.

Fuck knows though as all guess work but dont see him at Barca.

Already been said but “fools day” in Spain in December not April.

Could be Raiola driving up the price and he’ll certainly meet other clubs, but him being in Barcelona is a good sign.

city fans also in panic mode

How come City haven?t already invited them for talks? Need to get things done quickly before anyone else has the chance.

Whatever their financial position Barca always manage to find the money somehow. We should have had some kind of agreement boxed off before other clubs got their dirty hands on him.

I understand that they are going to hear out proposals from all clubs, but I doubt Alf and Raiola have met all of them in person so there is obviously interest there from both sides. Laporta wouldn't surely come to the table if they cant finance it as that will get leaked and its embarassing on his side.

It is midway through a season. Dortmund have a top4 fight and CL games as earlynas next week.

No way his dad and agent would be going there This publicly, at This time if it wasn't in some way of genuine interest.

No way he would put his son in an awkward position with Dortmund and the press there at such a crucial point, just to go see whay Barca are up to, or to attempt tonstrengthen their negotiating hand. There is Something in this. Whether it is enough, who knows.

I am aware of fools day... dont worry about it.

Good sign if Barca can afford him and open to move. May be the case may not. Will have to wait and see.

Probably the type of reaction that 'Alf' and Raoila were looking for from fans/clubs.

Smelling a ruse here.

They clearly don't know how Raiola is doing his business.

Not worrying in the slightest pal. You said “lookalikes” and “if real”. Yep, let’s see what happens.

It's good media for Laporta's team. Done a similar thing with Beckham, could end up the same here. Match the transfer fee but not the wage (+ signing bonus) offered.

Make it seem that the finances are not as bad as being said, end up with Aguero (and Depay of course) as Haaland chooses another option.
