He is on massive wages and we have major financial problems at this club. Also he would take valuable minutes away from the youngsters. Any other top striker we had left respectfully when they were unwanted.

Messi won't plays as the 9 if suarez stays so it means fati or Trincao or Pedri etc won't play in the other positions (or even trying fati as the 9)

In his prime he could play as a false 9 when he had generational talents like Henry offering pace and support.

Right now it's greizmann Coutinho and Messi squeezed in the middle, insanity with no striker

Doesn't matter that's the game plan and we will better for it in the long run. Response was to address the issue of Suarez won't take their game time when he clearly would.

He is a Barca legend. Was the best number 9 of his generation. His time with Barca I will always remember fondly, in a couple of years the good memories will overshadow the bad ones, no body will remember his bad form in CL away games, but everybody will remember the amazing goals he scored for Barca. Even though its time to move on, he will be missed, just like Dani and Masche when they left.

can go for free to any other club, but not to AM. It is ridiculous that they want him for free + we are going to pay for 50/ 60% of his salary. They just got about 10m from loaning out Morata.

I agree its ridiculous but our clown board have already put us at rock bottom in terms of reputation, might aswell just get rid and get this over with now.

Cavani would probably improve Atleti. this version of Suarez? not so much imo. he'll clash with Simeone and be off to China/MLS by next summer

I agree. But I really do not think it is okay to let him go for free to AM. I am sure we can get something if we act tough. They paid 70m for Costa when CFC wanted him out two years ago. Can you believe that?
