Arthur

don't play similar positions. Regardless, I think Arthur is better right now and arguably has the higher ceiling.

I don't know dude. I got really surprised by the youtube (lol) videos. I didn't knew the dutch player until yesterday... He seems to have so much talent and quality.

He may be playing like a DM (even CB for what i read in some coments), but for what i saw in his videos, he is totally a CM material (at least for me). Maybe they could play together with a DM behind them. Or Frankie could just play DM, but i think it would be a waste.

I really like Arthur, he is a compatriot of mine as a brazillian. But... If i had to choose a player to my team, i think i would choose Frankie. Oh well, Barcelona could have both of them

Guys, I have been getting some doubts with the English language. In which situations i should use "going to" or "will" to talk about the future? My natural language is Portuguese and I learned english by myself with games, music, comics, series and movies. I didn't had classes or anything of the like. I don't know if guys are understanding my doubts

I think De Jong and Arthur can both play together with a DM behind. Not sure about a double pivot as although Arthur showed he can, I'm not sure about De Jong. But both have to play a competitive match at Barca so that we can know their compatibility.

For someone who didn't take any English classes, your english is really excellent . "going to" and "will" can be both used to talk about the future.

Hard to compare honestly as both are very different in terms of style yet they are compatible with each other.

FDJ like Arthur could probably play as a CDM but both are more effective pushed forward. Arthur though is a controller, a guy who controls the flow of the game, the same way like Xavi use to do and a number of of things.

FDJ is not a controller from what I've watched But his main strengths is definitely on the creative end and fits the number 8 role perfect. He's that guy you want next to the likes of Arthur and Busi in a Midfield three.

What also makes FDJ compatible is despite his young age he fits the possession game well. you see a lot of talented attacking Midfielders who provide the creativity and goals but a lot of those guys when played deeper in the 8 position they struggle with ball retention etc. With FDJ he looks comfortable in possession and can retain the ball.

De Jong would be a WASTE at DM. Both him and Arthur are a bit similar but De Jong is more involved in the attack with more forward passes, dribbles, etc while Arthur controls the possesion more. Think Kroos (Arthur) and Modric (De jong)

Xavi and Modric. Arthur is mobile, unlike a certain German turtle.

Modric plays the deep role in Real ( CM ) . Kroos position is advanced compared to Modric, who drops deep and does the dirty work . An aspect in which kroos struggled a lot under Ancelotti . If Arthur turns out to be the controller that everyone is hoping for ,he should be playing deep in Modric /Xavi role and De jong in Iniesta /kroos role . Iniesta and kroos are vastly different in playing style though . Kroos is an extremely limited player but an excellent passer and set piece specialist .

Our future midfield should be sth like
Coutinho Roberto Arthur with Puig/Alena as a subs.
If anyone fails then we could turn to FDJ.

Roberto would need to add some physical toughness to his game, but he has made miracles happen before and never seems to turn down a challenge, so...

Why is he in green while everyone else is either blue or red. Is he playing for both teams when they are in possession?
