Madness. He's not. The idea is not to sign 4 or 7 players. The point is that the price is insane compared to more reasonable options. Get Lemar, get Seri, get Fabinho or some other more reasonable option. Dont go nuts for this dude. Its embarrassing to see us do this when Bayern buy Gnabry for 8m, RM buy Ceballos for 17m and we buy Paulinho and Coutinho for 190m. Dont make up excuses about inflated market or Neymar money. There is no excuse for this. We are the one inflating the market with our corrupt madness.

No excuses needed. Signing Coutinho is what we need and if they ask for more than he's worth, so be it. Our need to improve the squad is more important than the market or our pride on overpaying. Just give them what they want. If I was stranded in the middle of nowhere with no gas in my tank am I going to refuse to spend 5 dollars a gallon at the only gas station when I know I have the money, or am I going to just walk?

The Second leg of the Spanish Supercup.

Second leg at the Bernabeu.

Followed by the unveiling of King Paulinho the next day.

Fuck me, there's gonna be a second leg. And Madrid is going to be mad about the officiating in the first half to boot. And Vidal will probably start because Semedo needs to adapt in what can only be considered the "Negative-Zone-Lucho" method of making a player adapt by not playing at all, as opposed to as often as possible.

I probably blocked that from my memory out of fear.

If he is 150 million then they should go for Seri and Dembele. Barto already said that he is not going to expend all the money Neymar left.

El Mundo deportivo reporting this morning that Coutinho will not play for Liverpool ever again.
He is willing to boycott until they sell him.
Even if that means threatening his chances of playing at World cup.

A report says that he has now even talked with Klopp and told him that he won't play for Liverpool ever again:

(Google translate):

Phillipe Coutinho will not back down. His decision to play in Barça is more than taken and is ready to cast the order in order to achieve his objective of wearing Barca.
After last Friday formally requested the transfer request to Liverpool, which already used a harsh tone demanding the club of Anfield to sit down to negotiate with Barca and let him leave, the Brazilian midfielder has taken a step further there. As he has learned, Coutinho has even told his coach, Jürgen Klopp , that he does not plan to wear Liverpool again. Even at the risk of losing the World Cup next season in Russia, Coutinho is determined to throw the rest so as not to miss out on his great opportunity: signing for Barca.
The Canarinha international, who arrived in Anfield in January 2013 and has played 180 games in his five seasons with 42 goals, believes he has always been honest and has shown his respect for Liverpool and his hobby. That is why, after having first asked formally and amicably, Coutinho has raised the pitch and is willing to stay on the stand all season if the club does not facilitate his departure. Yesterday, officially did not play against Hoffenheim due to back discomfort. It was the first warning

I hope Liverpool bench him for the rest of his remaining 5-year contract, then. Lets see if he's truly willing to sacrifice his career as well. Ungrateful Brazilians, him and Neymar. At least Suarez agreed to give the club one more important season for them.

The only reason suarez stayed with you, Is because steven gerrard convinced him that he was too good for arsenal, And he should..wait for it....wait for it.......Go to barca or RM

Why? He can join one of the biggest clubs in the world. It's ambition. If he was average then they would have no problem selling him. Then suddenly he wouldn't be ungrateful.

Suarez was totally different. He had Arsenal after him not Barca and Gerrard persuaded him to wait a year and see if Barca or Real came in rather than a sideways step to Arsenal.

Has Barca been in for Suarez at that point would bet anything he would have done what Coutinho is doing to get a move.

Edit: just noticed already been said!

Coutinho is not the only player in the world that can strengthen our team. But we act like it if we pay 150m euros for him, especially in this situation where Coutinho is giving Liverpool a tough choice.

Agreed, 150m is ridiculously high even for this inflated market.

As for Liverpool, even with Klopp's charisma, they will find it hard to attract and keep talented South American players at the club for long. Liverpool as a city is not a desirable destination. Any top player would perefer to live in Barcelona, Madrid, London etc.
