Barca Transfers and Rumors

Rafinha is worth a lot more but oh yeah, we're barca so that figure make sense.

Player is worth if top clubs who have money=want him.
Neither of top clubs wants Rafinha because he is not good enough for any of them.
So, he can play only in a midtable or 2nd tier top teams like Everton, Villareal and similar.

He can't play in RM, Bayern, Chelsea, City etc.

So, you need to estimate clubs where he can actually play and then how much are those teams (of his quality level) able to pay for a midfielder.
When you consider this, I don't see which midtable team would pay even 15M for Rafinha.

Please don't reply: in the current market.
Current market is inflated only for players wanted by top/rich teams.
The price of Mathieu, Vermaelen, Arda, Rafinha and other guys is the same as always.

I think with good negotiating we can have 20mil from some mid-table BPL team. I find it hard to judge this kid considered Lucho's tactics and bad rotations and when our entire team/midfield looks terrible. He could be a very useful player but like you said not a starter for a top tier club or there must be some miracles happen this season.

I have a news for you, but unproven Adama was sold to a bottom team in EPL for 12M. Midtable team in England could pay him 20M easily

Also, why don't people want Dybala IF Neymar will leave?

We don't really have to stick with 4-3-3 and search for left winger as Neymar replacement. We could play a 4-3-1-2 (or 4-4-2 diamond, basically the same thing) with Messi as AMC and Suarez-Dybala upfront and two offensive fullbacks in Alba and Semedo. Granted for this to happen we'd need a Paulinho type (mobile box to box midfielder) more than a Verratti (who we won't get anyway if someone still hopes for him).

But just pure speculations as I don't believe Neymar will really leave.

Too much change tbh. And we could get Mpabbe who can play as 2nd striker or LW. So we keep that option you saying but have the option of keeping our formation too. Although I know Mpabbe is better in the middle

If Neymar leaves we will get 222 million euro. Then we will need to sell Arda and Rafinha. We could get at least 35 million for them.
That is lets say 260 million euro...

We can buy Dembele for 70,then Coutinho for 80 and we have 110 millions for CM.

If sell Neymar to PSG we can try to get Verratti for 80-90...Thats is 240 million...And we have 30 to buy some young talent.
This isn't football manager though

Adama had a rock bottom wage compared to our flops.

1-Adama had a clause that if he played some number of games he will be Villa most paid player,
2-Rafinha isn't on high wage. He is the one I was referring too not Arda. I doubt Rafinha will be looking for paycheck only anyway. he is young ambitious player

I like to see that clause. Played some games he would be their best paid player?

Rafinha isnt on very high wages compared to the rest of our first teamers but he's on much more than a guy like Adama was.

Adama had a huge pay rise, and was being a starter away from being most paid player in EPL club. Wage can be an issue with someone like Arda, not Rafinha. He is far more established than Adama who was playing in the worst team in second division. And he isn't on crazy wage to make team scared of getting him.
I am not sure what is the point you are discussing here

If he really does move for 225M. It will break the transfer window once and for all. From here on out without a big company behind the clubs they can't compete for world class players anymore. Every player price will go up. Dybala who could have gone at 80M odd will now cost 150M. Countinho who is hardly worth 70M in the current window will not be sold for anything less than 120M. Already things are crazy with Lukaku and Morata transfer as examples. It will be really hard to sign players from here on out.

It wont.

If anything it will tighten the regulatory environment around these oil rich clubs. Do you really think clubs like Barca, Real Madrid, Bayern, Juve, Atletico, United etc. and the leagues and that these cubs represent are all going to sit by and accept that a club like PSG can use financial instruments that are not accessible by anyone else which can lure the top players using a loophole present in current regulations?

It's never going to happen. If this Neymar transfer goes through, there will be a huge response to strengthen regulations.

People aren't going to accept being left in the dark knowing PSG can come in a offer as much as they please for top players.

People are not accepting Qatar wc. But it will still happen. Money runs the world no matter how you look at it. Fifa and uefa are pretty corrupt.
