It's not a minor problem but PSG is a big club and they know that if a player wants to leave, you can't keep him. It will cause problems and can have a negative effect on the squad and results next season.

MD is spinning tales with Verratti saga, they're ridiculously hyping this up to sell papers - when Bellerin was on the other hand reported a week ago or so as a done deal by sport journos like Romero and I'm 99.9% certain he's the "big name signing" Barto is promising, unfortunately as it is. PL can really exaggerate a player's true value .. sigh.

The only thing left to do is sit and wait. If Verratti really wants out, he is going to have to push through this transfer. No training ground sessions, no team photos, going directly to the press and bad-mouthing PSG and their fake promises of building a world-class team...That seems to be the only way because PSG don't need the money, even if it is 100 million euros.

Imagine Messi-Semedo-Verratti combining on one side
Neymar-Alba-Rakitic on the other
This way Messi will receive the ball plenty of time and enjoy playing
Neymar will receive the ball less and his focus will be less on dribbling and creating, more on scoring.
A midfield with Rakitic is hardly world class. Especially with him swapping sides to link up with the already poor offensive quality of Alba and Neymar.

i hope this happens, i hope we get semedo. We should've signed him already, instead of wasting the time on bellerin.
For me, Iniesta doesn't cut if for bug games anymore due to age, and decline
Rakitic can still offer goals, height, grit in midfield.
He will have it easier with Verratti carrying the midfield control duties.
