His ancestors are Croatian. He's a 17 yr old kid that plays for Dortmund. Has major talent. He could've played for Croatia if he had wanted to. He also pronounces his name Puli-sick, not Puli-shi-ich. Americanized it to the fullest extent.

Lavezzi is bad, but he's still better than Aguero. Even if Lavezzi runs like a donkey and creates some space for the others, he'll serve his purpose way better than a Kun would.
Aguero like Di Maria is stupidly selfish for Argentina and want to do it all by himself. If Argentina makes it to the final, then I hope Gaitan is ready to play and is picked ahead of Di Maria, because he complements Messi and Higuain perfectly.

I prefer Lamela. Lavezzi is not much different than Di Maria in playing like a headless chicken. The only difference is that I think Di Maria does it, propably because he believes he is really the second most important player in the team after Messi so he always has to does something fancy and extraordinary going forward, which most of them time turn out to be 
. Lavezzi on the other hand does it, propably because he is not very bright up there. But his advantage, or better say the only advantage, over Lamela is his work ethic which I hope works out for Argentina at the end so Tata doesn't end up being a tool once again.
