defense is where we really need to sign more players in the summer..we just look very average there

Maybe us losing leads in the last 25/30 min is due ti fatigue and a very tin bench. Its understandable but also worrisome.
I was honestly convinced that we would beat Real clearly. Playing Casimero really helped them alot, also feel Marcelo was motm, he often has great games against us.

I really dont know whats all this fuss about, and i have no clue what u guys thinking
u think lucho told the guys he guys go out there and fight for this game tell the death
and spend all your energy!! u know guys u play all season and have a 9 and 10 points
lead so u could relax for this kind of game, we have a much tougher game in 3 days
many of our guys just returned from long trip, this game would have really taking its
tool on us if our guys as u guys said fight harder for it, come on guys, would u rather
we fight like hell for this game, and have no energy for Tuesday game?! i think
this result is really not bad at all, considering they had to fight for there life, and
we had a 10 point lead on them, come on i mean we play atlatico and they play wolfsborg
so just chill and think beyond this game pls
and thats why i said before we should have really played with many reserved players for this game, but no one agreed, playing with reserved would have been much better, than playing with players that are clearly tired, and players that u really need for our next game

I dont believe that saving energy thing for a second. You dont do that in a classico, especially this one. It was fatigue, bad tactics and Real wanting it way more.

well the way we played with the ball we were slow as hell, they were playing half assed to be honest. they were walking with the ball for the most part

You can`t win when you defend with 7 players, instead with 10. MSN are too relaxed and they are tracking back like they are playing with their friends in the school field. Lucho has to show some authority and fucking sub them when they play abysmal like yesterday. I hate Madrid and BBC, but yesterday they showed what it means to fight for your team and still had enough energy to score and almost scored more than one with a man down. On the other side, MSN didn`t create shit and didn`t bother to come back and help with defence.
I hope this was just an off game and everything goes back to normal in tuesday. In the summer we need a big name signing in the attack, to shake things up a little bit. I love MSN, but as with any person, they need to know they are not untouchable to perform at their maximum.

If someone told me we'll be 6 and 7 pts ahead in league, in Copa final and on our way in CL I would be happy like a kid...only problem is that we looked a bit drained, like we are past our peak and last season we were accelerating in this stage. It should do for Copa and La Liga but very hard for CL.
Also why did Messi and Ney played so narrow? They should start more wider, I don't mind Messi coming in the middle but even if he is on RW for a couple of time he streches defence and akes our job much easier. Yesterday even Ney was quite in the middle, like we cloted ourself.

we were unbeaten for 39 games the run had to end at some point..maybe we just expect perfection when that isn't reality?
Tuesday will tell if it was fatigue or saving energy yesterday. If it was fatigue we will be tired on Tuesday, too. Personally I coulnd´t see the players giving their all, it was no dead or alive situation. There was no extra effort made like I´m sure would have been the case for instance in a CL semifinal.
If you saw Neymar for example you clearly could see it was no fatigue. He nearly had the whole week to prepare for this game. Where should tiredness come from? He tried to do something but he never wanted to go over the top. This was my impression.
There´s 2 ways to approach such a situation. To go over the point of no return which sucks out the last reserves out of your body or do it the easier way which means trying to do it somehow but not to exhaust your physical energy completely. And I think the latter one has been the case yesterday. But time will tell. I think we will see a good performance in 2 days with Messi and Ney tracking back and the players going over the top of their physical abilities.

Bad game, time to wake up again. We're still in a good position to win the league so nothing serious happend, but of course loosing to Real Madrid always hurts. They have to increase their intensity again and have to show a stronger will to win. I was hoping that the Villarreal game was the wake up call for the team, but now I'm pretty sure they'll learn their lesson out of yesterday's match.

Yes, but it is kind of strange to field 'once de gala' and tell them to save energy - then he should have started with some squad-players instead!
The 3 points are not as important as Tuesdays match, but we lost momentum, and have a bad run right now, that is not good. I'm not really afraid of losing the league-title, our lead is still big enough with the few matches left. But a loss to Madrid should always be avoided - so if it truly was pure tactics to try to clinch to the draw at 1-1, then we could have used all our 3 subs right there. Then we truly could have saved energy for Tuesday, while it wouldn't matter if we won, drew or lost, as you claim.
