One of my all time favourite players, he was always a class act and an incredible footballer, hope he bests it up in the States!

Hope he comes to play on our shitty astro turf field in Vancouver. I'll be seeing him live if he doesn't bail on the turf like many others.

Scored in his home debut as captain for NYCFC. He left Europe too early.

Saving NYC again with a brace, they were dominated but he pulled off 2 moments of magic!

I doubt he'll feel at home. Milan is big but nothing like the turmoil of NY. Most italian-americans are very different from italians too.

Villa-Pirlo is like an ultimate dream pairing from the mid-to-late 00's, that finally came true about 6 years too late

Does anyone know if Villa ever spoke about their UCL defeat to RM? I don't recall him ever speaking about it. Still wish he would've stayed in Europe for 2-3 more years, but having won everything, I guess it's not a bad time to chase one last fat paycheck.
