Eh, you don't know much about la liga, huh? That was a made up award that didn't exist before that season, and happened only in 2013. Messi was voted the liga best player, and the lfp magically invented an award so cr wouldn't be too sad.

I don't know much about individual awards at all bar Ballon d'Or. I'll only know about them if I see them on this forum or perhaps I hear about them (WC MVP). I don't really care about them tbh. That is fucked up then ,indeed.

I know Elche had administrative issue that could get them relegated (mostly financial), but what's the link with Eibar ? Why do they get to ascend if Elche is relegated ?

Real Oviedo and Gimnastic de Tarragona are promoted to the Segunda Division.Now they have the final to play which will decide who will be the Champion.
8 other Teams including Athletics B Team will play it out for the 2 other places in the play offs.

Why would it hurt his reputation when it was close ? I don't like to but going by statistics, Ronaldo had 31 goals and 9 assists in 30 games, Messi had 28 goals and 11 stats in 31 games(both scored equally from penalties). ATM won the league so it was either Messi or Ronaldo, could have gone either way. If you honestly think that this Messi goal deserves this award then you're probably blind. Are you seriously telling me that Messi didn't have better La Liga goals than this one? Not to mention James who scores beautiues frequently.

So LFP created this award out of nothing, just for that one year, provided no nominees, no justifications, no criteria and just awarded it to Ronaldo to appease his damaged ego.

It's the most pathetic pity job I've ever seen in football.
