Nah, the 4 mil that "he's paying" is taken from what will be his wages over the course of the contract. So, let's say he was supposed to be paid 20 mil over the four years, now he's going to be paid 16.

Madrid got Isco for 24+3, so Thiago for 25 isn't too bad a deal for Barca.

If I remember correctly Bojan was sold to Roma, but had to be bought back by Barca after 2 years for the same amount (13m). Milan could stop this transfer by paying some amount more. So essentially it was a loan with a buy option.

Koscielny is good, the best defender in the EPL last season by a mile. I would gladly take him.
