Many respected local journalists, Sport and EMD have practically unanimously declared that the CdR final against Athletic at the Camp Nou will be the legend's last game.

It will be very strange to see a Barça team without the greatest maestro of all time. It will be a very, very sad day.

Hopefully we can end the season on the highest note (winning our second triplete as the only club to date) which would be the best goodbye that any club legend can imagine.

Xavi is without a doubt the greatest Spanish footballer of all time and one of the most influential midfielders if not footballers in football history.

Very happy for his 8th league title and we all saw what it meant for him.

Graham Hunter article in paper now says that Xavi was a major reason that the Messi/Lucho issue was resolve after Anoeta.

Basically Lucho wanted to fine Messi maximum amount possible and Xavi explained how Messi needs to be treated different and it wouldnt be a good idea.

Also Xavi issued a rallying call to the Barca players after the way they behaved on bench at Anoeta saying its not good enough and he refuses to go back to the days of players behaving like that and not winning a title in five years.

The next day Messi turned up at the training ground at breakfast on his day off and days laters scored/assisted in 3-1 win over Atletico... the season began.

Also Barto was the one who called Xavi and explained how much he was still wanted at club which along with Lucho made him stay on.

Xavi coach of Barca 2020 no doubt. What a legend, so glad he and Lucho sorted out their problems.

Don't wanna put any negative vibes, let's just hope Juventus won't ruin this..Italians are known to be masters at finals.

The last time some of our players (6 out of 11, to be precise) faced Italians in a final, they won 4:0. :)
