Germany and brazil has yet to play but so far taking into consideration the overall level. If they are serious Argentina could actualy pull it with a Messi in goat mode.

It’s been official since at least yesterday. Biglia is a big worry for me.

As a Milan/Barca fan I can assure you Biglia is a decent player. Definitely the best midfielder in this Milan team.

That's the problem. It's all easy saying we need one but there aren't too many of that type. Just putting a tall, powerful donkey won't do us any good. He must be able to put the ball down and link-up well.

Btw Giroud is too slow for our game. He'll be pocketed by any decent strong CB.

If you play a short false nine:
He won't be in the box for tapins
He won't drag two defenders in the box
You can't play some crosses to create a havoc

When you play Giroud/Benzema/Costa, you can use all these weapons.
France looked better in the box and with more sense once when a true Cf, Giroud, stepped in.

Playing with a false nine in 2018, potentially brings a lot of matches with a sterile attack if an opponent parks the bus.

Not disagreeing with you on Costa and Giroud, just saying Benz isn’t like those two with his style of play despite being fairly strong and tall.

Wouldn’t mind a big striker at Barca, at least for the bench.

They also knocked out England from Euro 2016 top 16 and reached the quarter finals. They are a team not to be taken lightly.
