Willian is a very good player just his age and fee are the question marks but not sure who else is out there at moment.

50-60m is not astronomical though in this market.

Fair chance Willian with his agent goes to China in couple years as well.

To be honest the way the market is now, 50 million is the equivalent to the old 20 million signing.

Willian is a good player however, the age is a factor but then again if he manages to maintain his pace for a few seasons it wouldn’t be half as bad.

The only thing I’m against, is if it hinders are chances for getting a top midfielder because are budget doesn’t stretch.

Most teams tend to have a clear plan with a capable Sporting Director. Won't say much about Abidal as he joined recently, but Pep Segura is the constant here, he's literally the GM of the Sporting Section of Barca and has an input from the 1st team all the way down to La Masia Juvenil B.

Barca seem to have gone into the last couple of summers not knowing exactly what to do.
