He didn't feel confident defensively at all after that early booking, probably because it was given after Valencia players intimidated Mallenco into issuing it. Their players were just waiting for him to extend his foot or something so they could crowd the ref again.

For some time I've believed that Busquets is actually the most important player in Lucho system,he isn't the best player but with him everything clicks well.we control the midfield easily,get the ball quick and the ball move smoothly. when he is out our midfield is hurt and in consequence our team is shit.
This is what is happening right now.he is shit and we are fucked up b/c of it.
To sum it up,we will win nothing if he keeps this form

Edit: and while I hate to go talk a lot about future events,but if he keeps that up and with his age we will need a true back up for him he will force him to rest a lot.not a player who can play the position like Mascherano/Roberto/Gomes but a true DM that will compete with him. Let's hoe that Samper will step up to be that guy

From one of our best players in the past years to worst. What happened to him? Every time he gets the ball nowadays, I feel like he'll make another bad pass or give the ball to the opponent. It's time to bench him like Lucho did to Pique at the start of last season.

He's been flogged to death. Just needs a rest for a few weeks but never gets one. He'll go off and have 2 x 90 mins for Spain in a few weeks again as well.

Has no competition for his place either. He probably needs an injury to rule him out for a few weeks just to get a breather and refresh because he doesn't get a chance to rest.

Buying Fabinho from Monaco would really solve Barca's problems. Reliable backup def mid & RB at the same time.
