Thing with VAR is that it was pretty unbiased in LaLiga and with Madrid until Florentino had that much publicised meeting with LFP.

Pretty much every 50/50 has gone their way since then. At the end of the day VAR is just a tool, as long the referees have the final say, they'll keep on getting favoured. I remember reading an article a couple of months back where a retired Spanish referee said 80% of the referees favour Real Madrid over Barcelona.

Yea, Iturralde was the ref in question. His logic was that you don't become a football ref if you're not very passionate about the sport. And if you are passionate about the sport it makes sense that you are a fan of some team in your country. And outside Catalunya, most are Madrid fans. So, it makes sense most refs are Madrid fans based on this logic. So it becomes a matter of which one is professional enough to be impartial and not let this affect his decisions. Some are. Some aren't and you can see in most of their decisions their pro Madrid bias.

Gil Manzano is an obvious example. That man is sketchy as fuck. He was the guy that robbed Villareal at home vs Madrid giving a hilarious pen. for Madrid at 2-1 for Villareal, and after the match, Villareal's officials spotted him leaving the stadium with loaded Madrid branded bags.

Man's a die hard Madrid fan.

If we get beaten today, it's #KoemanOut dawgs.

we don't have the players and our manager doesn't have a defined first 11.

so a loss is very much on the cards. even tough juventus is also shit and a draw might suffice for both teams.

We don't have the players but his tactics have been straight up horrendous the last 2 weeks.

What's even more shocking to me is that one of the best defenders in FCB history seemingly has no idea how to organize a defense. Opposition have been creating way too many chances against us.

Nah. You can't blame Koeman for this mess. He got no own signings and we have shambolic roster without striker. (Yes we had Suarez and threw him out, which was still good move.)

The people who built this crap were fired yesterday.

so nothing changed since valverde left. a defense with 2 veterans and 2 reserve level players for the past 2 seasons. one can hardly expect anything good from that defense.

What are you talking about? We had the best defence in Europe in Valverde's first season

maybe my choice of words was misunderstood. wanted to point out that after valverde left, the defense really went to shit and opponents have big chances against us in every game.

This manager is just confusing, different lineup every game. Well at least Busquets isn't starting but still ugly lineup

Garbage lineup as usual. Unfortunately it was predictable, considering his CV. Can't wait till he is sacked. Sentimental garbage managerial appointments have stagnated this club for a decade, hopefully we'll have actual managers with the future board.
