Ronaldo was far more instrumental to this side than some used to like to think. Watch them struggle in CL as well.

Only psychologically. This squad is loaded with either pussies who cower in front of goal (Benzema, Lucas, Bale, Isco, Asensio) or players who feel they've won enough and they can't help pull the score back anyway (CKM). Vinicius starting is practically the reward for being the guy showing an ounce of resilience to adversity, but he doesn't face as much backlash as the rest so it's understandable.
Marcelo is a weird because he shows signs of shame he brings to the shirt through his performances, he's the one that usually causes us to concede, but on occasion is the leader to help pull it back. Only this time he doesn't have a great passing target.

We're fucked, sure, but everyone knew this'll happen. Better to hit rock bottom quick, knock the old house down and start anew than panic over it buckling.

At current rate, we will score 55 goals or something in the league this season, the only time we hit less than 100 in the last 9 years was last season with 94.
Also, 30 000 empty seats today? This is a club in crisis.

Really? That is unbelievable.

Where do you guys usually get attendance numbers from by the way?

I used the question mark because im not quite sure, just heard people mention a half-empty stadium.
I couldnt watch the game, so i really dont know.

That’s true, there were only 53,412 spectators at Bernabeu today, mere 66% of full capacity.

Who exactly are we crossing it to all the time? This has been bothering med all season long, pointless crosses that nobody can capitalize on.
If it isnt working, try something else then.

Minor blip in the road.

It was still the perfect time to sell Ronaldo and unfortunate circumstances for Lopetegui. Genius Solari and the world class Real Madrid squad will no doubt come back after this minor set-back.

Thanks Nostradamus. Remind me to ask you about the upcoming lottery

They’ve lost that fear factor.. for years even if they went down 1-0 or got a red card you felt like they would bring it back.. at home especially.

Where was the fear factor when Real Madrid finished around 15 pts behind us in January during last year? They had Cristiano who scored like 4 LaLiga goals and was mocked for having less than Paulinho.

Real Madrid's defence has always been a joke, which is the biggest reason why they've only won 2 LaLiga titles in 2010s.

That's not them lacking fear factor, that's just playing shit.. and that's a small section out of the last few years anyway. They've been called comeback kings at points over the last few years, when they conceded you just knew they would bring it back to win or draw... now when they go behind it feels like they will actually lose.
