That's not funny, that's how free market works. It's not because something is twice as good, it would cost twice as much. It can cost triple or more. All depends on the market. Enough players with the qualities Rafinha has. If a club has to pay to much for someone like him, they can just try to get someone else.

Are you saying that it's only world class players that have been affected by the inflated market?

Benchwarmers like Morata get sold for 80M€. 30M€ for Rafinha is peanuts.

We definitely have quantity over quality... A bunch of mediocre players is what we have, so one more or one less doesn't make much of a difference...

No idea when he's going to be back. he's not even training on the pitch yet by himself.

I remember they were talking about early August when he was going to return but apparently he suffered a setback.

Guy is so pathetically injury prone that he's never going to improve to the level we need from him. Giving him minutes at this point is just investing in a failed project. Alena would make much better use of those minutes in midfield and if he's needed as a winger somehow we'd probably be better off seeing how one of our B team wingers fares with taking the step up.
