Not a reliable source so probably not worth talking too much about until someone more reliable confirms this rumour but with Malcom and possibly Coutinho gone we'll need a backup winger and I'd rather get someone more experienced than a promising kid who then won't get enough minutes to develop. Machin misused Promes as a wingback or support striker in his 3-5-2 but I think he's a good player who could do well as Dembele's backup on both wings. Everything depends on price though.

Offer them 20-30M + Denis (we probably won't get rid off him other way ) and we could also loan Malcom to Sevilla for a year to improve his value before selling him next year. And maybe if Valverde leaves in 2020 next coach will count on him so he can return. It's very unlikely Monchi would accept this though especially after what we did to him last year.

BTW, Promes's buyout clause is 150M.

I am not putting too much stock into this either, given the source and it being International fixtures.

But he does seem to be an Valverde profile. Correct me if I am wrong, but he seems the Willian mold. Then there is LaLiga Exp and age.

Sevilla paid 20m so he wouldnt be cheap however.
