Positive Thinking Cules

We are still 2 points ahead of real madrid. Isn't that enough reason to be positive? Cheer up people, it is not like we lost the league. We came back from 4 points behind not that long ago, and real will play similar set of fixtures in the later part of the season which is the most difficult part. Double is still very possible, if we have luck we can reach cl semi's and maybe finals too.

Mesmerizing football in the first half.

We drew Sevilla away because of individual mistakes, they have been beast at their stadium all season but could well have gotten a beating tonight.

Many people understandably find losing points like that very frustrating, and it is, but I tend to see the plus side in that nothing is intrinsically wrong with our football.

At the end of the day I'll always choose a frustrating draw over a well-paid one. :barca scarf:

That's the spirit!

This very Sevilla are unbeaten for 15 months, or so, at their home. It's understandable to be disappointed with only a point after you are 2 goals ahead but that's life.
I'd like us to see that we won 4 points from 2 very difficult grounds (Balaidos and Pizjuan) in space of a week.

-2 great golazos
-Neymar looks back again (benching/resting helped)
-Alba is back from his injury sooner than we expected

STILL TOP OF THE LEAGUE!

I wouldn't say neymar is completely back, but he certainly was more decisive and that is much much better than what we saw in the last few weeks. Maybe in the one of coming matches he will give a masterclass performance. With all our forwards clicking even when we play bad we could find ways to win matches. Just need to stop committing stupid errors.

I feel that this strong feeling of disappointment we all have after the game is amplified by this unrealistic fear that Real Madrid is going to take 3 points from all their remaining games. Chances of that happening is, after all, very low.

If they just draw one of their games, let alone lose it, we're back in a comfortable lead given we win ours. And if they lose a game - we can suddenly afford another loss ourselves, and if they draw - we can afford another draw as well. The cushion we have is still very important.

Celta, Espanyol, Valencia and Sevilla are games where the chances are very high they will drop either 2 or 3 points, and who knows they might slip up and give away points in one of the games they are expected to win as well.

Bottom line is that we're still in the lead with one less tough game to play (arguably the hardest is now behind us), and with the league still completely in our own hands.

Now let's focus on PSG on Wednesday, and start a new win streak in the league next weekend. :barcascarf:

- 3 nice goals
- beaten a team that hasn't lost a game in European competitions since 2006
- team doesn't have to travel for 2 weeks (all matches played in Barcelona)

- Celta, Almería, PSG, Valencia beaten. Point from Seville.
Not bad for 2 weeks time. :)

Not to mention that the PSG tie is all but over! We just need a normal solid display in the return leg at home, nothing spectacular, and we're through to the semis. :)

It's so important that we won against Valencia and at least got points from Sevilla, we really got out of this extremely difficult start of April with our lead well intact. Our fixture list is suddenly looking easier than RMs. Looking at the games left, RM is going to have a tough time away against Celta, away against Sevilla, at home against Valencia and away against Espanyol.

For us, the most difficult ones we have left is Espanyol away and Atletico away, and Real Sociedad at home could be a little tricky, but the rest should be rather easy victories. And remember, if Real Madrid drop points in one of their remaining games, our cushion grows - if they draw we can draw, if they lose we can lose...

- Amazing collective pressing
- Neymar looked very good !
- Alves and Iniesta
- Busquets is Bossquets again
- Mascherano is better than Matthieu
- The hard part is almost over
- RM will live the same hell with Sevilla (a) and Valencia (h) surrounding their eventual CL semis :)

Is it officially OK to start dreaming of triplete ?
