He will be back here next season.

Failed player with a weak mentality, simple as. Bloke has turned into rubbish and no manager can save him at this point.

Another loan deal incoming.

Then send Griezmann on loan as well.

Then sign back Neymar.

500M well spent :bartomeu:

Put the blame where it belongs, the board and sporting directors were the ones that spent crazy money on Coutinho, Dembele and Griezmann... Neymar, as dislikeable as he is, has nothing to do with that...

Mueller is getting a second life since Kovac was gone. One thing we know for sure is that we will need to start looking for a buyer for Coutinho.

Let's hope he will not rot on our bench for two more years costing us some 25m a year on salaries.

True, but almost everyone here was excited for Coutinho, but he turned out ****. He was our "guaranteed" performer. He worked for 6 months and then turned into shit.

True. He got his dream transfer and stopped working.

Yea, thing is we need to stay away from players trained by managers like Simeone and Klopp, because they absolutely take everything from them physically and mentally.

Seems like Coutinho is not a world beater, but a regular good player who went on a great run under the leadership of a great manager. Coutinho's story would happen the same if we took some of Liverpool's current players. Once taken out of that perfectly calibrated setup imagined by Klopp, their performances would drop, because few of them are actually certified world class able to play under an average manager and impact the game like they did under Klopp.

True and good point. Their players usually work under certain formation or coach but not otherwise. I think Firmino would flop with Barca as well.

No doubt Firmino would flop at Barcelona. He would become Suarez' sub under Ernie 100% or at best stuck on the wing. Would be Griezman 2.0. Griezmann would slide in easily with Salah and Mane as well no doubt.

Also, when you say that a player will flop at a club, it doesn't mean that player can't perform amazing for other clubs. We need to understand that at premium, elite level clubs, all players' quality is very good. The difference is made in the management department.

Even Milner and Henderson from Liverpool. They are very good players without being top class in anything but workrate and engine. But yet they play in a system that demands from them exactly what they are very good at. If they were to function in a team with poor movement they would be bench players at best. Milner and Henderson would be bench warmers at Barca.
