Philippe Coutinho

Didn't he play more central in the first matches when he was good?

But lately he is pushed to the left so that Messi and Griezmann can stink up Cf and Cam position.

Man, you are persistent with Coutinho, aren't you? Look back at where he played in Liverpool please, he played on the left side of the pitch. He isn't being played out of position. Can we move past this already? If he can only be good by playing around the midpoint, why is his main attribute cutting inside? lol. He needed to step up to the next level after Liverpool and crumbled under pressure, and lost his confidence. He was shit in Bayern as well.

He's just not able to perform when there's super-star levels of pressure and expectations around him. He couldn't make the next step, that's it bro. Stop trying to justify all these shit performances because his average position is like 5m away from where it's supposed to be.

Coutinho is just shit. He looked good when playing in the best system in the world for the best manager in the world.

Correct. He was CAM in the first games when Messi played more advanced. Now Messi drops to CAM, Griezmann was moved top, and Coutinho plays more on the left. With Dumbele on the right.

Koeman has no power over where Messi plays. He plays where he wants just like with the managers before him.

With Ansu injured, we really don't have much option to play someone on the left.

We don't. But that doesn't mean you should put your only real central AM there. This fucks 2 positions. I'd rather use Dembele LW - Coutinho - Griezmann/Messi + Messi/Griezmann top.

But that's thinking Messi would actually keep his position and won't go haywire. Like he usually does.

He'll use anything as a stick to beat Messi. How on earth his trolling is tolerated on here is a bit of a mystery to me. Ohh well.

Coutinho at 10 was essential in the beginning of the season. Those first few games, he tied the whole attack together. You even had staunch haters of his on twitter acknowledging that he was playing well.

Didn't do anything but won't be too harsh on him just coming back from injury against a tough opponent with a whole team playing poor. I'm sure he'll do better when he gains more match fitness.

@bbz and @serghei notice how Coutinho is shifting to the left hand side and yet Messi isn't on the pitch
