They are promoting him, Barca players are extremely close, ( dont know the exact word) but they seem to prefer players they know and like over strangers who might be better.

Well, it seems like Valdes is staying, so we're hopefully not getting Reina... I don't see the point in doing it.

It'd make more sense to get a young GK like ter Stegen and loan him out. Or use next season to integrate him into the first team.

I hope he does not join Barca, that would be typical. Barca could have any keeper in the world and they choose the best Catalan available.
