This dude is a monster. 16 goals, 8 assists and 5 penalties won this season. The club that gets him is very lucky. He play RW so I don’t think we are interested.

Only 23 too, and carrying Lille to Champions League places. I think he's at or just below Dembélé's talent level.

As I've already mentioned (can't remember if it was in this thread), Bielsa played him as a 9 last season before getting sacked. He was adamant that he would become WC at this position. Pepe wasn't particularly impressive, and the player even said himself that he really prefers playing as a RW.
That being said, Bielsa might be crazy but he can also be a genius. When he arrived in Marseille he said very quickly that B. Mendy was going to be one of the best LB in the world. Back then, Mendy was a joke in France, and everybody made fun of Bielsa for saying that. Turns out he was right. So maybe Pepe will become a WC 9.

Who says dembele cant also begin to share some #9 roles if Pepe couldn't. Playing for barca is different, may want interchangable forwards. Look at how salah moves between wing and forward, mane and firmino can also make runs common to a #9. Could be different ways to sooner or later start replacing/spelling suarez than a traditional CF.

The way the striker market is, and Suarez getting slower and slower, Pepe might be the best solution even though he has played as right forward in his breakthrough season. The market is dreadful. And no, we're not getting Kane.
