Neymar was supposed to be that guy to help bring Ligue 1 the exposure it needs.

You would think someone of his caliber and even Mbappe's rise could help but it just didn't work. I remember just how big things were but after a month he got there the novelty wore off and it was business as usual for Ligue 1.

A lot of people just tuned in to see Neymar on CL nights or with the national team when he wasn't injured, exposure yes but still far below what he experienced in Barcelona.

Well he did do that.

Ligue 1 and PSG got broadcasting/sponsorship deals way above their market value without Neymar.

160-170m is a fair price. If it could be 60-70m + Dembele, then it would be even better.

If we end up at 160m, surely our first offer must has been like 120?

They did the whole fashion PSG line with the Jordan brand colabs. So Nike did take some market share as many people and celebrities are wearing PSG kits. Also, I think PSG has the nicest kits from the Nike line-up.

And don't see much of a difference if Neymar comes back but still finds a way to fuck his sister on her birthday(family tradition I guess) every year.

If he's smart he'll accept it.

New start for him and he'll be closer to family. It's obviously a downgrade, but he's on borrowed time in Barcelona anyway and he got no one but himself to blame. Forget the injuries and underwhelming performances, but having to babysit him all the time and him doing stupid shit off the pitch is not worth it.

Dembele should look to move anyway if neymar arrives. He will hardly get any game time. Going to PSG could be a good move for him
