This buyout clause is like someone wanted to troll the football world and make a mess between boards, media etc.
Not too high so that is forbidden by anyone to pay it but not too low either. It is just the perfect number :bartomeu:

That lead to their conclusion that signing him was not viable.

This pretty much implies that he didn't make a bigger offer than Barça.

And with the knowledge we've gained after 2013 about the details of Neymar's signing (in particular, the shady "accounting engineering" with which they tried to obfuscate everything surrounding this signing), still believing that Neymar chose us over a bigger economic offer is naive, to say the least.

Doesnt imply anything other than him making out they calculated it would take 150m to sign him which was much more than Barca offered. It could be him saying that is how high needed to go to beat Barca to him and decided against it. Wouldnt believe anything he says anyway as could well be trying to save face.

He never denied Real making a bid and you can recap on what was said in court about Reals offer being bigger which no one challenged and you can recap on Neymars agent saying Real made bigger offer. That agent seems obsessed by Real and wouldnt be part of this great idea that Barca made it up about the Real offer.

All the evidence points to Real bidding for him and it being a better financial offer than Barcas.

MD is saying that the father is in favor of staying, but money offered is huge and players from PSG are pressuring him especially Alves:lol: That's gotta BS, probably Barto trying getting back at Alves for calling him a liar.

with every passing day barca looks weaker led by buffons just because neymar is in silence... if we keep him or take 220M i dont care at this point, neymar its not bigger than barca (the part with the buffons its true)

Would bet anything Alves is going heavy on him to move to PSG.

Makes sense for him to do that.
