Neymar Jr. - v5

Horatio

You're welcome
Neymar's chances often come after long direct sprints where he goes from deep and then makes a run on a counter or a quick transition.

Sure, but that still doesn't cover the chances he misses after receiving it inside the box or cutting inside and shooting. The type of chances you are mentioning make up about 1/5th of the chances he gets. Also, Neymar has great stamina and is lightweight and has an easier time covering that distance than other players, obviously because otherwise he wouldn't be able to handle it that well for 90 minutes. But Suarez for example scores goals after winning duels using his body also demanding a lot of exertion.

My point is: Neymar's finishing will return at some point, but not necessarily at the expense of those runs.

Good game but his finishing is still very poor. There's no excuse for mising so many sitters this season.

Ney is impressive, he will be our driving force in the big games, even though his finishing is off. He is chaining MOTM performances and that is amazing.

Barca winning the UCL this year...HOW?? MSN cant cut it alone you know, it's not 3 vs 3.

If only he had better finishing skills.. Games would be much more easier. Nice game today though.

He has finishing skills, he just lacks concentration and/or freshness when he comes into goalscoring position. DonAndres described it well above.

So, now we know he wants to move to EPL after Barca. Anyone would like to guess the destination?

nah, don't take that report seriously. its international break and the reporters have few things to write about.
Just recently they wrote about shakira not invited to messi and anto's wedding and i was like...............................seriously bruh. so yeah they're severly starved of content lol

Yeah, silly me for reading MD and taking it at face value when in the article they have "Sun" as their source

I still see him moving from Barca in few years though.

Don't see warmer climate loving, beach loving Neymar in England.

Would make more sense for Neymar to leave now and be the face of the team elsewhere than in a few years when he could well be that here. Would be dumb to leave everything for a bit more money or adventures which could come back to haunt him.

Just look at Ozil or Di Maria who probably wish they never had to leave Real Madrid. Everywhere else seem to be a downgrade in not only chances for major trophies, but also quality of life. Perhaps Paris or somewhere like Torino/Milano comes close, but that's it.

His confidence is low, so he is trying to take high percentage shots, instead of finishing naturally.

Case in point, Messi shot to Alves near post without thinking about it.

He tried to put the ball to the keepers far post because that's the correct place to aim the shot, very Ronaldoish.

With time he will gain back his confidence in front of goal and start finishing more naturally, off instinct.

Yeah. He is definitely trying really hard to score. It was clear watching him against valencia at 3-2 and in the end failing most of his chances because of trying too hard. I was thinking how many wrong decisions he was taking at 3-2 that could have costed us the game because he wanted to score as if we were up by 3-0.

He needs to understand he is doing really well by helping the team with dribbles and assists even when not scoring.

His frustration is clear when he can't score in a match with messi and suarez in the scoresheet and he should try to not think about scoring too much.

Portugal, Monaco or Italy would be the only alternatives for him. No need to get hooked on phonics learning English. He might give L.A. a shot in his 30s :rap:

soccer, movies, music, pals, stuck limos in traffic and flyin bullets :2guns: wats not 2 like

but he's got such a good life in Spain except for the T-dudes barking at his heels
