Nelson Semedo

Messes up almost every time he has the ball in a great position. Feels like all his crosses/passes inside the area hits an opposition player.

You're welcome
He’s posing enough problems on the right side for the opposition to warrant a stay at Barca. Like Evitah said: he’s the least of our problems.
So far he’s been developing, albeit slowly, over the seasons. No saying what he’ll be capable of next season.

Finally Semedo and Firpo start, and Roberto back in midfield. And of course Semedo gets injured, so it's Roberto back to RB. Valverde black magic at it again. Not to mention Wague could've still been subbed on instead, if we'd have a coach with actual balls.

📰 [ESPN🥇] | Barcelona worried by frequent muscle injuries after losing full-back Nelson Semedo to a calf problem for five weeks

🔶 Since the season began in August, manager Ernesto Valverde's side have endured 17 injuries, with 15 of them muscle related

🔷 Sources have told ESPN FC that a preseason which included long-haul flights to Japan and the U.S., in addition to accumulated tiredness, is a possible reason for the surge in muscle injuries at the club

🔶 Barcelona add that they believe the injuries have played a part in the team's sub-par performances this season

🔷 One source inside the club, though, said they don't understand why there have been so many injuries, given the players' diet and rest time has been carefully managed

fucking LOL

With the amount of effort Valverde puts in the physical preparation it's no wonder that it's enough for someone to do 2-3 sprints and break himself.

Pathetic coach , worst coach in the history of football dawgs.

Ah here we go, mystery solved. So the reason the team underperforms is injuries, and the injuries are of course caused by long flights in pre-season.

Conveniently that means the coach and the players have absolutely nothing to do with it.

Normally i'd say there is no way this is legit, but i can totally see this being true.
