I think Setien has a very ungrateful situation. He will be fired for Valverde's mistakes. Valverde for years treated the players like spoiled babies and now it's showing. Their lack of professionalism is killing this team.

Well, Valverde messed up the physical training for players, which is pretty key when you are a football player. I do blame Valverde, BUT also management who didn't see we needed to get rid of some players.. (Busi, Rakitic, Suarez etc etc.) Also, replace Roberto as a RB, he is trash.

Problems:

Lack of vision from the management, no long-term vision
Valverde and his lack of player management.

Thats why I think players adapt much easier with madrid than with us. Death by a thousand crosses, direct type play counters and plenty of space is easier to adapt to. Trying to fit players into a peo style football is like trying to capture lightning in a bottle twice.
