Looking at City vs Leicester. We would get slaughtered by City. The speed they do everything is fantastic. We are playing football on pace of grandpas and it's killing us. We are too slow, simple as that. EV needs to get this moving again. At least put the ball move faster.

it is amazing, how fast they play/run how intense the game is ... it is a shame but this is a complete different level then what Barca is able to show these days...

Very average performance again but a good result. Cant keep this up and expect to beat Napoli. On a good note at least alena started

It should be a different game for the Champions League. This game is not enough

It was mentally good to win this match

Leading finish important

We need to improve our game. This is so hard with Valverde

Which one?

"De Jong struggled against Madrid"
"De Jong is starting a lot because of his price tag that he's still living up to"
"Hard to get into such stacked midfield"
"Valverde is on top of the table, why are fans mad at him? What else do they want?"
Some commentator was talking so much crap while clearly knowing nothing about barca, can't stand people like that.

Loads of these dumb commentators around. When I watch us in CL on BT Sport there seems to be loads, always saying how good we are and surprised that we play bad. Definitely don’t watch us regularly.

Genuinely agree with that. They kept saying how lethal we are and how great we are, especially when scoring against near relegation teams. Only Ray Hudson seems to be the more rational one, and truly loves Barca and Messi. He knows how much we regressed since Pep and Lucho's days and wasn't afraid to criticise Valverde on TV.

Hudson was shilling for Valverde up until Anfield iirc, since then though hes been critical. its so cringe to hear some of these commentators calling the fans 'spoilt' when its obvious they only look at the scoreline stat - hence Ronaldo being so popular these days

What do you think of Graham Hunter as a commentator? He irks me

IHO media /journalists/commentators are not free to say their opinion, but please the masses. Interchangeability of personnel and media being consumed through free streams does not help either. Many of these guys are just puppets.

In Austria we had once a tennis journalist in the Austrian broadcast comp. for 30 years, who dared to ask Andy Murrey about his emotional outbursts on the court. Murrey exhausted from the match, looked at him bedazzled /pissed. He did not break up the after-match interview - but since then the journalist was never seen again. Maybe coincidence but....
