PSG nearly spent 100 million combined on Ruiz, Soler, Vitinha, and Renato Sanches.

Luis Campos smoking some good crack when he did all this.

The quality on the market is insanely low, I guess that's what happens when you have a shit ton of rich clubs competing for a few good talents. Chelsea spent 600m and just got one top player if you ask me. Shows how lucky we got as well with our current crop of talents. The situation would be dire without them.

PSG, City, Real and Liverpool all look at a major rebuild next Summer, it will be a massacre. Again, we got lucky that we just had to compete with Chelsea on the market recently :p

True. Meaningless game before a huge game. Makes sense they took it easy.

It's not that simple. PSG have lost to Rennes, Marseille, Lens and Monaco since the World Cup. That's the other 4 sides making the top 5 of the Ligue1 (Marseille was French Cup, they play again in the league within the next month).

In these games a combination of Verratti, Mbappe, Messi, Neymar have been playing. So yes they rested some players yesterday, but they have been in poor form and have consistently got outworked, outrun and outrun by Frances top sides this year.

No signs point to them being able to overturn this against Bayern in the knockout, but stranger things have happened. Like UEFA not calling stonewall penalties against SuperLeague supporter Barcelona...

They didn’t take it easy, they’re just rubbish. They got great attackers but zero cohesion as a team. Prime Messi would have a job to win much with that lot behind him.

Verratti is their only top class midfielder, the rest are average to poor. Their defence is bang average and their captain is the bottle job Marquinhos who in my opinion is the most overrated defender of the last 10 years. Always flaps it when the pressure is on.

Easy to look good when Thiago Silva was there basically holding his hand for most of the time he's been there. Once he left the dude fell off a lot and was nowhere near as good as he was with Silva.

Type of signings that work well at a Lille but goes tits up in the ego clad dressing room of Paris Fashion Week.
