Proud effort by newly promoted Cordoba managed by our former man Albert Ferrer. Looked very solid despite the loss at Bernabeu.

Mixed start to the league's 1st round. Pleased with Barca and Eibar's respective wins, but the good feelings stop there as Athletic were robbed of a deserved draw/win and Atleti faltered due to fatigue. Plus, Real Madrid won (albeit unconvincingly). Hoping Atletico regain momentum so that their team is strong in all competitions and that Athletic can withstand the flurry of fixtures in the coming weeks. Great to have football back though.
