Kylian Mbappé

Mbappe will be best in the world in 2-3 years (or 2nd best to Messi) if he avoids injury and keeps his head screwed on.

I don't think Neymar will ever be the best player in the world, maybe for a very short window. He'll never reach Brazilian Ronaldo or Ronaldinho level let alone be in the same league as Messi.

Neymar has set his career back going to France in his peak years (26 now and not a player who is likely to be great into his 30s given his lifestyle).

The only thing that could hold Mbappe back is if he's stuck in France for ages. Verratti should be best in the world in his position but needs to go to Barca or Real to be tested properly.

Barca should go all out for Mbappe over the next couple of years. Messi could pass the baton on to him like Ronaldinho did for him.

Perhaps the best scenario for us would be PSG milks an astronomical amount of money from Real Madrid to sell Neymar to them, and Neymar will have his little kingdom there and will be against them signing Mbappe, and we use our French contingent to lure Mbappe after his current contract expires (Messi will probably be gone by that time).

True. It's a huge gap at the moment between La Liga and Premier League, and the rest.

You could say the same thing about Dybala and the best players at Juve. Apart from Napoli the standard is awful.

Bayern have it ridiculously easy in Germany every year as well which isn't testing their best prospects either.

That rumor is Don Balon tier from Diego Torres.

But I wouldn't be surprised if Ney wanted Coutinho at PSG though, considering they have been friends forever now.

This. Diego Torres has been losing his reputation the last couple of years too. He's also never liked Neymar and his family.

PSG will never trade a French star like Mbappe for anyone to keep Neymar happy.

We need Coutinho more than we need Mbappe.

Griezmann's probably the Suarez replacement anyway.

If we want him, wait for his contract to run down and hope Ligue 1 doesn't cause him to stagnate.
